I was looking some advice or tips for the following:
- I’ve an Android tablet, which I would become my main “control”, installed centrally in my home.
- on that tablet, I can install the HA app (with a dedicated HA user for the tablet) or use HA through a browser (same dedicated user)
- I probably get a Kiosk license
- I would like to set it up so that when “idle” it displays an informational dashboard (for example weather, airquality, state of my home, state of my car, … ) whatever I put on my “info” dashboard, on different tabs. And there will be a button let’s say … “control” (which then takes me to another dashboard with indeed… controls for light/electrical/…
- when the tablet is idle, I would like the screen to automatically loop through each of the tabs of my “info” dashboard, for example, every 10 seconds
- when I touch the screen (dashboard) that looping should stop, or when I touch the control button to go to a dashboard with controls, that looping should stop
- when after manipulating/controlling something in some dashboard, after for example 120 seconds, the tablet should go back to the info dashboard and start looping again.
How would I be able to do that?
With Kiosk and/or browser mod?
Or in other ways?
Anyone who has been trying to setup something similar?
