I’m wondering…does anyone know of a way to “add power” to an interior door (regular swinging, hinged, interior house door) so opening and closing it could be automated? Motorized hinge or something? Been looking around a bit and haven’t really found anything. Would love some ideas!!

The hydraulic piece on a storm door or a commercial door is called a door closer. I’d look for a motorized version of one of those.

If you can accomplish and purchase #1, the other half of the battle is to wire the open/close contacts of the motor to a microcontroller, like an esp32.
I would think it wouldn’t be that hard. Proving to be a bit tricky…lol
HA!! That’s EXACTLY where I started!! Didn’t see anything that didn’t cost a truckload of cash. Will dig around a bit more…might be the only way.
I have no idea what I’m talking about, but, would a (maybe more powerful) version of these be your inspiration?

Hi Brent, search for “automate swing door” in your favorite search engine.
Unless you find a ready made option to automate, I guess you will need to find a motorized system that you can control with HA.
