Automate pulling info from home-assistant

After restarting home-assistant, node-red shows entities like this

and I have to press this button

to make it look like this

I guess node-red has to pull the information from home-assistant to get the correct name.

My question is, is there a way to automate this button press? For example, schedule node-red to pull this information at regular intervals?

On the edit server page, UI settings, are all the selectors set to friendly name? If yours looks different, there is probably an update in mange palette.

Is there a reason you don’t have “Using the Home Assistant Add-on” checked?

Without knowing the details of your setup, it’s hard to say. But it is checked on my setup, and could help your issue. Make a backup before trying…
