As I am still struggling with my issue regarding roof windows, maybe see of you here can help me:
I use the Integration from basbruss around my house and it works quite well even though I adapted it quite heavily to my needs though my own automations setting the different covers only if there is “actual sun” measured by solar radiation of my weather station and not more than a decent amount of wind, I still struggle with this:
I wankt to set it up for my roof windows that have an inclination of 45°. I tested it both with horizontal an vertical cover and I do get surprisingly similar results for. the timeframe of “Sun Infront”. But they are not correct.
The window is facing NE (55°) and with a small “min elevation” I should be fine. The start seems to work, but the sun “ends” significantly before it really is outside the view of the window (around 2,5h earlier in right now in May).
Any ideas how to do this correctly?
Unfortunately, the offset also does not work for me as I cannot control the cover directly via the Integration as thew windows show no (correct) position, so the goal is anyways just to trigger another automation that sets around 80% or opens the cover again.
