Hi, when i am outside home with my android smartphone first ,i must connect to wireguard to access my vpn and after click on home assistant app. (i don’t’ like external https direct access ). I suggest to make HA android app that first turn on automatically Wireguard Vpn installed on my phone and after open HA dashboard
I don’t know how it is on Android. but on iOS I can tell Wireguard to connect automatically as soon as I lost my Wifi.
I have my wireguard turned on 24/7 on my android phone, no matter if i’m on home wifi or not. So all works totally automatically. I never went into details, so can’t say precisely what happens when i’m on home wifi, but i guess that i’m connecting “from my home wifi via wireguard to my home wifi”

but it works without any special settings.
