I went to edit an automation and noticed the detail under each of the sections had disappeared from the visual editor, it's all still there in YAML and they work but can't see the specifics anymore. I then went to add another action and realised that a heap of options have gone, there used to be a bunch of different action types such as thermostat, switch, etc but now I only have device and media player.
The automation UI is in a bit of a transition state. More changes coming this week with the 2026.7.0 release. This is due to the implementation of all the new triggers that are migrating in from Labs testing.
Keep referring to the Documents as they are keeping up with the changes.
