I’m looking for an automation or example in HA that can control solar micro inverters based your energy needs and electricity prices. With micro inverters mostly the inverters can be switched individually (at least in my case).
It would be nice if I was able to group some inverters based on roof position (two or more groups) and the use of sun azimuth to disable some of the inverters depends on the power consumption and disable the rest if prices are negative (and otherwise keep them all on when positive).
More and more energy providers (for example in NL) charge house holds with solar installations per month in the summer when the prices drops negative.
Most HA integration and solar users know pretty well want the current power consumption. But does anyone knows an available code to dynamically automate ( enable/disable) inverters based on the energy consumption?
Just out of curiosity:
What brand of microinverters do you have installed?
Mine are Enphase, and I don’t have this option
I have APSystems. I know that something has this also working on Enphase by alter the communication. Try to find the article.
