My devices show up on my Dashboard but not my automations. I am not familiar with editing yaml and the devices have a add to dashboard option but not the automations for some reason. Can someone help? I tried to follow another post similar but cannot really understand it. It says its supposed to be visable.
Automations are based on triggers. Meaning something happened. They don’t make sense to be on a dashboard.

I had roughly the same issue. I wanted to know which scene was active in the room… I solved it using a dropdown helper and then triggered the scenes via scripts rather than scenes. It’s more work, but the result is exactly what I wanted. I have a display showing which scene is active and which automation was last run.
do you have any information on how that’s accomplished because I’m a newbie?
