Has anyone tried, successfully or otherwise, to create a connection between their HA system and their Aventon e-bike?
My Aventon Abound has both a Bluetooth and cellular chipset and I’d love to at the very least get some presence monitoring but ideally full monitoring of my e-bike data.
Some automation tied to the bike’s presence and state of charge would be great.
I’m also happy to do some digging but don’t know where to start.

Is it BlueTooth, or BLE?
nRFConnect or similar sniffer tools should get you some interesting data to get you on your way. It may be encrypted, but sometimes that can be worked around.
There is an active Bosch eBike thread here that may give you ideas on how to approach your challenge.
Are there common industry standard protocols in place for eBikes?
The alternate option is web scraping from their site.
Reverse engineering can be hard, but ultimately rewarding.
Dumb question: Have you asked the vendor if they have an API? You may need to sign a NDA however.

I have not asked, but I like the suggestion.
