Backup failed to restore, how do I get HA (Supervised) working again?

I tried to update to HA 2025.6.1 but it was giving problems .I tried to restore my backup that I did before the upgrade, but it failed. Now my system keeps giving me errors and will not start. Is there a way that I can remove HA supervised and start over with another version of my backups ?

Backups are (supposed to be) platform agnostic. Just reinstall Home Assistant. Copy the backup .tar file to /backup on the host computer, then restore from your backup.

If your backups are on the host computer (big mistake) copy the .tar files to a USB thumb drive before you reinstall Home Assistant.

Not so easy with docker. I tried getting rid of HA, but it keeps prompting that Supervised is already install and won’t finish the install. I don’t want to blow away all of docker as I have to many other containers that I need
