Backup find storage medium in manual, but not in automatic

I have 2 places for backup: system (used 7.9%) and USB-Stick (and Nabucasa)

If I start automatic backup an error appears: could not be stored on USB-Stick:

Backup agents [‘home assistant OS.usb_backup’] are not available, will backupp to [‘home assistant OS.local’, ‘cloud.cloud’]
It is stored on system and in cloud - but not on USB-Stick.

If I use manual backup with custom backup and select all spaces

it works.
If I use manual backup with predefined places the backup error comes up again.

It was working until ca. 4 weeks ago. Now I found out that the USB port of the fritzBox on the side does not work (the USB_stick was really hot all the time). So I changed to the second USB of the Firitzbox. Now the stick is recognized.and I can see it in FritzNas and read the content.

I use the same configuration (USB on a Fritzbox) on my second HA-installation in another house without error.

What could be the reason that the automatic backup does not like the USB-Stick? Has the USB-Port in Fritz!Box any influence? Then why is working in custom-Mode?

I just started it again with no issue!

A difference is that the correct number of storage place including NabaCasa are in the selection:
