Hello,
my automated but also manual backups within home assistant are failing during the upload to a Synology disk station. Disk space is sufficient on the HA device but also the disk station.
I can see the upload starting on the Synology (tmp folder is created), but during the cleanup phase an error occurs:
From Supervisor logfile:
2026-05-07 14:56:57.513 ERROR (MainThread) [supervisor.backups.backup] Can't read backup tarfile /data/mounts/srv_backup/tmpm5ctv7mq/upload.tar: "filename './backup.json' not found"
The credentials for the user to access the synology are ok, tested with another machine. The user is able to write data. As said, I can also see the tmp folder and files in between.
This worked fine until some weeks ago but might be broken during one of the recent updates.
Any idea about how to solve this or to get more debug information?
