Backup Mariadb transaction log files

Currently, I’d like to establish backup for Mariadb in Homeassistant OS.
I’d like to be able to restore with minimum loss of data.
Mariadb can do it by generating and storing transaction log files.
However, I am not able to locate the Mariadb database files in Homeassistant OS (because they are in the private “/data”) directory.

A full backup is not an option, because it’s too slow and causes a lot of trafic.

What can I do?

Hello Volkmar,

If you have HAOS, your mariadb is likely located in an addon.
That means it’s in a seperate docker container.
No, I have no idea what to do after that, but look there.
