The new backup solution is really awesome.
I am running HAOS in a VM managed by ProxMox, and the only reason for using ProxMox is the fast and easy backup/restore possibilities.
However - if the new backup solution released now in 2025 could implement saving the backup as an USB bootable image, then I could really simplify the setup and remove ProxMox (not that ProxMox is difficult, setup will just be more neat and slim)
Can storing as a bootable image be considered?
