Bad big (negative) energy value on start of year

Hi, i have problem with energy card. First month of year have a big negative value.

In result as for now i have negative energy production

How i can repair this?

You can repair it in Developer Tools → Statistics. It would be better to work out why it happened to prevent it happening next year.

Hi. I cant find where i can repair this.

As You see, this is in one inverter, but when i enter to this entity then i not see negative values.

So, this bad entry is somewhere else. But where?

You are looking at the history of the sensor, which is the history of the states of the entity.

The energy dashboard uses the statistics of the entity. As Tom said, tools->statistics is where you’ll find the ability to edit that value.

If you want to view the statistics, add a “statistics graph card” to a dashboard.

I had a power supply glitch which threw out my temperature readings.
Rather than wait a year until I can use the graph again I’d love to edit the entry

I can see the sensor entry in tools->statistics, but no way to edit it

There’s a ramp icon next to the statistics, though I suspect you won’t see it since yours is a temperature entity & adjust statistics seems to be only available for energy entities.

I guess I’m back to not using the graph in my dashboard for a year.

I’m in states, find item and i can set only current value

In statistics i see only sensor items, i sort by Statistics unit - there is no looked unit, when i try find via area column, there is no values on entity

I still cannot find where i can repair this.

So, i ask again - where i find place to correct entries in energy dashboard?

You are using a states filter in that screen. Replace that with garaz_pv_generation_total and you’ll see an entry with a statistics unit of kWh & a ramp icon next to it, like I showed in my previous post.

Ok, my mistake, on my screen ramp icon not showed because out of height screen, and scroll bar in new HA was very small and i not see his.

Thanks for help, i find bad entry correct it and now i see correct values.
