I am looking at balcony solar systems, and I am struggling a bit with those that integrate well into Home Assistant. Ideally, one that is non-cloud based.
I am located in Germany.
For the actual panels, I can only fit 2 panels, and they have to be matt black according to the WEG. I am looking for a balcony battery storage system as well, as most of our consumption is towards the evening.
I currently have a Emporia Vue 3 running emporia-vue-local (ESPhome). I see some systems offer a zero feed-in setting often using Shelly power meters. I am wondering if the emporia-vue-local can emulate the Shelly for various battery systems, or if this should just be managed via HA directly.
Could you please share info as to which systems work well with HA? So far, the main systems seem to be Anker, Solarkon and Zendure.
