Battery drain difference for switch bot thermommeters between Bluetooth active and passive mode

Hello,

I have six indoor and two outdoor Switch Bot meters I integrated using the Switch Bot integration.

It looks battery information is not gotten the same in active and passive mode, particularly for indoor meters.
Can someone confirm and explain how it works?
In the past I used some ESP32 and have never succeeded in getting battery status in passive mode.

Last question, has someone already compared batteries life in passive and active mode? If I understand correctly active mode drains more battery but I am interested in knowing if it is really useful to stay in passive mode in this case, if the difference is large.
