I have a set of Becker RF controlled blinds. I want to control them through HASS and for that I need a sender module from Becker (VC421). Is it possible to write a custom binding for HASS and make it appear as “blinds” in the app? What the custom binding will do is to control relays through Raspberry Pi I/O. The rest is up to the VC421 module. Check the diagram below to get the rough idea.
Hi,
I also have Becker rolling shutters which are controlled by remote. This one: https://www.google.nl/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.becker-antriebe.com/fileadmin/user_upload/Downloads/Rolllaeden/Steuerungen/Centronic_EasyControl_EC545.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwi5gPCnooXZAhWQb1AKHXfYA_0QFjADegQICRAB&usg=AOvVaw2mQlA-gZmVD8R9w5qiWP57
Did you got this working? I’m interested to build a pi with home assistant and to automate my blinds.
No not yet. I am waiting for some technicians to finalize the installation before doing anything. Theoretically it should be possible.
Please keep us updated
As it turned out the technicians connected the blinds to the existing free@home system with the
use of VC421. That means the problem has shifted for me to find (or build) a free@home blinds integration.
Wondering if the VC421 can be used to control several blinds? I have blinds installed on several windows…
It can but not sure if they can be controlled independently.
Apologies for reviving this thread, but did you get this to work eventually?
As I write above for me it was not needed eventually. Currently I am controlling it through Free@home and the corresponding HA integration.
