Before I install a server, how flexible is the logic?

I have a panel of chargers hooked up to blind motors.
I checked the ‘idle’ power usage, those little guys use a bit each, so…

The panel is now on a ZigBee smart switch that requires a bit of scripting to give it the full scrooge McDuck effect.

Is the scripting logic able to do something like…

On any third Saturday of the month turn the ZigBee switch on between 0100 to 0430
OR
If on any day between (sunset + 10 minutes) and (sunset + 15 minutes) if blind position for ‘Blind1’ or ‘Blind2’… is not 100% (Down) turn the ZigBee switch on for 3 hours, position all blinds to 100% and log out of normal hours activity.

If the the scripting is as limited as most then its not worth installing the server.

If yes then were is the best resource to read up on the logic?

Thanks, Kevi.

Yes it can do that.

Have a read of the available automation triggers and conditions and see if you can work it out:

The “third Saturday of the Month” trigger could be a bit tricky. Probably best done with a local calendar trigger. It supports repeats.

Alternatively the template trigger is very powerful.

Thank you for the rapid reply, I will read through the links.

The documentation is great.
I have an old end of life windows 10 workstation from work, is it effective to use that or one of the plastic box things I see advertised?

You could give it a try - Windows will be replaced by HAOS. It has to be 64-bit capable and be able to boot using UEFI.
