You’re using these for Bermuda tracking? I’ve been having a hell of a time narrowing down a tracker I think will work. I tried with some Chipolo Pops but they don’t work. Right now I’m using two RuuviTag Pros but they’re meant to go on my dog’s collars and those are too big. I’m looking for something that doesn’t use IRK or random MACs
Just a heads-up that the 2026.8.0 release will feature some significant behind-the-scenes changes to how “devices” in HA work. I don’t think there will be much breakage, but you might have a few templates or automations to fix up afterwards (the same applies to any integrations that relied on grouping devices from different integrations together).
I’ve written up my expectations based on testing results at Changes from HA 2026.8.0+ ("Linked devices" etc) · agittins/bermuda · Discussion #804 · GitHub - please raise any discussions there if possible to make it easier to track.
I’d suggest ensuring you take a backup before installing 2026.8.0 when it comes out, just in case - everything I’ve tested works OK (with the few caveats in the discussion) but I’ve not been able to test every possible permutation that’s out there!

Just getting started with Bermuda…it’s very slick and getting the BLE Proxies setup was a snap…the IRK thing is really unfortunate, but Derek’s ESPhome package finally made sense of it all!
Did anyone devise a dashboard or similar to display “Current Location of Person” (if the person is “home”) based upon the most recent sensor data for the person’s devices?
It can’t be that every time I want to know where a person is, I have to find each registered device and click on each to see where that device is currently located?
Don’t get me wrong, I get the usefulness of being about to include sensor (device) location in an action, but it would also be great to know where someone is at a quick glance (pre map feature).

Just find the sensor that has the area for your device from Bermuda and put it on the dashboard right under your person’s home /away tracker and make it only visible when home…
You can of course get more complex if you wish but… That works. Also the new template device tracker that recently came out in New builds are designed for exactly this. Design what you think is important and derive/show that.
That (both) sound perfect…but I must be missing a step. I need to add each person’s home/away status first. Do you have a link on how to do that?
EDIT: I think I figured this part out.
However, I’m not clear how to set the visibility to show the location only when Home. Where do I find the Entity or value to toggle against?
EDIT2: OK, it’s right under “Location”? I guess that contextual to the current Person?
And then where would this new “template device tracker” be located? I am up-to-date with 2026.8.0.
