Hardware recommended: a face mask.
The air inside commercial airplanes (or any plane, really) is super dry. And wearing a mask that covers both mouth and nose would actually bring you multiple benefits.

Last time I was in Singapore, it rained. The summer tropical shower was only a minute or two, but the steam rising from the hot footpath gave me close to a steam bath. The humidity would have been close to 100%. Singapore is a nice place to visit. That is my experience.
