I’m looking for an indoor security camera that works well with Home Assistant. My previous camera looked good on paper, but I ran into connection issues, delayed notifications, and it wasn’t very reliable over time.
After looking through a lot of discussions, I keep seeing these three mentioned:

- Amcrest 4MP WiFi Indoor Camera(https://www.amazon.com/Amcrest-Monitor-Detection-Motion-Tracking-Wireless/dp/B09Z556LVF?th=1)
For those of you who have used them with Home Assistant, which one has been the most reliable?
My main priorities are:
- Stable local integration
- Reliable RTSP/ONVIF support
- Good image quality, especially at night
- Accurate motion/person detection
- Works well with Home Assistant (and Frigate if you’ve used it)
- Stable Wi-Fi connection with minimal issues
If you’ve owned any of these cameras, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience. Have they been reliable over the long term? Any problems with firmware updates or Home Assistant integration?
I’m also open to other recommendations in a similar price range if you think there’s a better option.
