I’m wanting to test some of the AI Agent integrations and see what capabilities are present however am aprehensive to do so in my prod environment.
Looking for some guidance as to what the best practices are for running a replica test environment. Currently run Home Assistant as a VM in Proxmox.
Is this as simple as taking a backup and restoring it to a new VM and updating IP info? Can both run at the same time without conflict? I believe there would be an issue connecting to my Zwave controller from the test system but can this be worked around to make validation meaningful?
Any guidance on this front is greatly appreciated.
