I bought recently Athom ESP firmware smart switch, Connected to Home Assistant without issues.
The main issue is the glass faceplate. When I tried to replace the existing switch, it doesn’t fit. Without altering the in-wall box and wiring I cannot simply replace the old switch.
is there any other out of box switches I can use, compatible with Home Assistant without re-flashing firmware.

This is like a relay switch
How can I control that physically like a normal switch?
Is there a companion push type switch to replace the existing toggle or rocker switch available?
You connect your existing (or new) “dumb” switch to Shelly and place it behind the switch.
Advantage is that you have same switches everywhere, dumb or smart.
And those cheap “touch” buttons are quite terrible to use, I have one.
The switch can be either toggle or push type.
