For zwave, I use the zwave js UI. It sounds like I will be stuck excluding all my zwave devices from the husbzb-1 and then including to the zwa-2? Is there really not an easier way (don’t want to open stick and solder)?
-what are the general steps? First, exclude all my zwave devices, unplug husbzb-1 and pug in zwa2, then include? Do I have to be careful t o name the devices the same so they work with existing automations?
For zigbee, I use zha. It looks like there is a migrate adapter in ZHA that I can use?
I have this same situation. Since I use zwave js right now, I thought maybe to minimize the transition, I could set up a second zwave network using zwave js ui and then move them at my convenience instead of a mass migration.
I have not been able to find a good source that steps through the process of running a second network with js UI alongside regular js. Running HA OS, so don’t want to mess around with git and builds to do this.
Not trying to hijack your question, but it seems this would be helpful to anyone trying to go from HUSBZB to the ZWA-2.
