Hello,
after changing dongle once and moving to different host twice, my zigbee network has too many issues not to try the extreme solution: starting from scratch and re-pairing all the devices.
The question is, what would be the best way to get rid of any residual of the old zigbee2mqtt databases, files, configurations?
I would also change channel when recreating the network to make sure…
I’d simply uninstall Z2MQTT (no need to uninstall MQTT itself if you’re using the same user/password).
Following that, I’d remove everything which persists in the z2m folder, restart HA & start the install all over again
Thanks, I’ve been out some time and I’m still chasing some spare time at home to do this.
What about the /share/zigbee2mqtt
folder? I see the actual database.db
file that is updated continuously is there rather than in /config/zigbee2mqtt
