not related to the component, but the data quality is round about ok. Since I have a bad cell phone coverage in my parking garage, my “cupra app” works quite reliable, but the upload for the data to the VW portal is sometimes delayed or even incomplete. Again, has nothing to do with the component.
Example: I’ve charged my car yesterday to 80%, the cupra app notified me, that the charing has completed. VW portal is stuck at 79% and still says charging 
Dindn’t change for me so i switch back to all data as reccomended…
i still doesnt understand why if you select all data, is still possible to select the others fields… anyway…
After 2 days this morning i found 96 entities!!
I have all what i need except the parking position… do you have in json file?
If you are in the UK you are wasting your time trying to get this to work. The EU data act portal is noit available to UK accounts. Thank you Boris.
I’m in the UK and I have got ‘some’ data coming in via the 15min pull. Battery level, odometer. The zip file just changed from a 0kb _no_content_found.zip file to a file that just .zip on the end which was 2kb… the one time request file was 1900kb.
The bottom of the EU Data Act page doesn’t show the UK though so I thought there was no hope… will see in the next pull if any more data comes through.
The data act portal lets me login in and shows the right vehicle details but won’t even let me request any data. UK 22 plate Seat Tarraco
Have you verified ownership? Under vehicle details you should have an option to do a one time request and request customised data. The customised data is where you set it to genereate a file every 15 minutes.
I’m now see battery level, charging power, doors locked, range, odemeter, charge limit, window heating. There are a load more but no data yet. The car(Cupra Born) is over a hundred miles away from me at the moment and I dont think it has been moved since I set this up, but its definately pulling some data. Im hopefully after its next drive I see more.
Yes I have verified ownership of the vehicle. I get no data at all and the vehicle shows as ‘offline’. I only really want one parameter. I have had several instances of the car being unlocked unintentionally, probably due to key handling, (pocket dialling). I’m looking to build a simple automation to periodically check the status and report changes to my phone. The official app is no help. It’s so frustrating.
UPDATE: I’m getting data. Yesterday the ‘request data buttons didn’t work, although I’d completed registration. Today they do work and data is coming in. Pleased.
First of all, thanks for the great work, it eases the pain a little.
What is unclear to me is what data clusters to select for my VW ID.4.
I have selected all of them “Parking Data, All Data, Vehicle Warning Lights, Charging, Driving Behaviour, Maintenance Related Information”, but still do not see for instance the window status reflected in the data that is provided every 15 minutes.
According to the website the “The package is a zip file that includes subfolders for each data cluster” but I see only one json file of about 300 lines in the zip file that is about 2K in size.
Am I doing something wrong?

Unfortunately for me it does not. I stopped the collection, waited for an hour and created a new one with only the data cluster ‘All data’. I now have again a zip of about 3K in size containing a json with about 380 lines. No entries for window, trunk or mileage which should be in this data set according to the Data Dictionary.
Any other VW (ID.4) users experiencing the same lack of data fields?

I have a VW ID.4 and have setup requests for All data. A zip file with a single .json file has been generated for a couple of days. 54 entities have been created in the HA integration, some of them rather “niche” like downhill consumption. But what I thought/hoped would be one of the main sensors: Range is not included.
It is not a fault in the integration as the value simply is not included in the output file from the EU Act..
Does anyone know what the issue could be? From the DataDictionary it definitely looks like it should be included in the All data.

Hi! After one day I still dont get any data and the zips still have ‘no_content_found.zip’ in name. VW Arteon 2022. I tried ticking only ‘all data’ box. Now I ticked all boxes.
