Hi Jungteichbauer, thanks for the detailed write-up. What you describe (app/health report OK, Data Act portal only _no_content_found) is almost always upstream on VW’s side. Home Assistant only mirrors what the portal ZIP contains, so there is nothing the integration can invent for a 2019 MIB2 / Car-Net setup if every package stays empty. Your VW ticket is the right path.

Hi, your reading of the field names is reasonable, but the official dictionary barely defines them, and the portal does not guarantee that current equals maximal at a full charge (usable vs gross capacity, buffers, temperature, and so on). The ~502 km range lining up with 75.5 kWh and ~15 kWh/100 km also suggests range is tied more to the maximal figure than to the current one. We only expose what VW sends.
Hi @TommiG1, first of all: Thanks for your work. I was pretty frustrated that VW took action against the WeConnect integration. So I was all the more pleased when I came across your approach. I wasn’t familiar with the EU Data Act.
I own a 2020 VW Passat GTE (B8) and can confirm that the integration works wonderfully. I received the first valid data after about 12 hours, and I was able to rebuild my previous vehicle card in Home Assistant using the new entities.
I can also confirm that this integration works with golf 8 2026. after 3 days 11 entities change in 89 entities.
but some entities are not usefull. Outside temp shows 2 with different temps.
