Better thermostat overshoot

Hi
I have my trv valves configured with better thermostat and my room is heated 0.8 more than what it should. It is, I set the thermostat to 20, at that point the valve closes, but the room temp goes up to 20.8

Any idea how can I fix this in better thermostat?

The documentation mentions a Calibration type: offset based … i’d guess you could put in a -0.8 in there, docs also mention the TRV needs to support that. – use a second temp sensor for a better room temp average? alternatively set it to 19 :slight_smile:

I have the external temp sensor and the tolerance set, but tolerance is only used to switch on the valve, for the lower limit, it is, if your temp is 20 and tolerance is 0.3, then, the valve opens when temp is 19.7, but it doesn’t affect to the closing temperature
