Big backup after installing deepstack and Double take!

Hello, everyone,

I actually had a question. If I make a backup of HA, I am currently at a size of 1486.5 MB, but if I install DEEPSTACK AND DOUBLE TAKE, this backup suddenly becomes 4254.3!!! Can someone tell me or explain how this happens and if I can do something about it??

Sounds like you are backing up the LLM models.

Sorry that should just be ‘M’ for Model. There is no LL (large language). And I made the PIN number mistake.

Thanks, LLM means large language models. I’m still fairly new and trying out all sorts of things. Can you explain to me what this exactly means and how I can prevent such large backups?

Upon further investigation I find that it is mainly Deepstack CPU that causes this!!

Forget I said LLM.

DeepStack contains a lot of data it uses to make predictions.

It’s an add-on, so you can exclude it from your backup.

yep been running deepstack for over 3 years, with it in the backup the backup is 6gb without it it is 1.7 lol.
