Hello All,

I live in a bilingual household.
Ideally, I would want to be able to adress my voice assistant in either language (english and french fgo) interchangeably and transparently.
Say I want to turn on the lights in the bedroom. I would like to be able to say “OK Nabu allume les lumieres” or “OK Nabu turn on the lights” without having to think about it.

Here is my config for the Voice PE

Only the english language works at the moment.
Am I missing anything obvious ?

My current setup looks like your screenshot so I guess same wake word for all languages. Should I not?

No, that’s the point: you have to use different wake words for different languages.
I only use 1 language.

So for your “Assistant 2 / Home Assistant French” you have to set up “Wake word 2” with something else then Wake word 1 (which is for Assistant 1)

Ah now it makes sense ! Ok that works as intended thank you very much.
Shame that the wake words themselves cannot be in French though (as in a french first name)

Profanity, curse, re-curse, repeat.
