I wanted my BirdNET-Go detections to be something I'd actually want on the wall, so I made Bird Card: a custom Lovelace card that shows every species heard in a chosen window as a Japanese woodblock-print bird, nested by silhouette into a collage that updates live.
Highlights
- HACS install, no access token (uses HA's connection); weather + theme come from HA
- Three views — Collage, Stats (hourly activity heatmap + top species/life list), Atlas (field-guide grid with playback)
- Tap a bird for its recordings, description, rarity, and an optional Xeno-Canto reference call to A/B against your own captures
