Hi, Help please, I have just taken delivery of a black & decker dehumidifier BXEH60014GB. On following the instructions & plugging it in there should have been a sound prompt & WIFi indicator should illuminate, these didn’t happen.
Everything seems to be working okay & functioning on the control panel just not able to get the unit to go into WIFi mode.
I have downloaded the app so was ready to go. Does anyone have any idea on what the problem could be.
my winix has a button to push to get the wifi set-up. Don’t know about that brand.
Hi, no WiFi button, it should happen when unit is switched on……apparently.
Make sure you are listening on a device set for 2.4 only.
According to the manual it works on both 2.4 & 5Ghz.
Most likely have to start with their app, especially if the HA integration page says it’s a cloud api.
I think I will be contacting Black & Decker on Monday. Thanks for your help.
