Hi everyone!
I’d like to share a project I’ve been working on for Home Assistant: hass-ble-esl.
I previously developed hass-gicisky to support Gicisky BLE ESLs. That project is now fairly mature, so I wanted to take the next step and bring support for different BLE ESL protocols together into a single, more generic Home Assistant integration.
Currently, hass-ble-esl supports four BLE ESL protocol families:
| Protocol | Brand | Supported Sizes | Colors | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| PickSmart | Gicisky | 2.1" – 10.2" | BW / BWR / BWRY | |
| XTE | Poshiji | 1.54" – 7.5" | BWRY | |
| WOLINK | Zhsunyco | 1.54" – 13.3" | BWR / BWRY | |
| easyTag | Zhsunyco | 1.54" – 10.2" | BW / BWR |
The currently supported models and detailed information are documented here:
Where to buy
- Gicisky / PickSmart — AliExpress
- Poshiji / XTE — AliExpress
- Zhsunyco / WOLINK — AliExpress
Availability and supported sizes may vary by seller, so please check the model and display specifications before purchasing.
If you’re interested in BLE ESLs or would like to test one of the supported devices, I’d really appreciate your feedback.
In particular, WOLINK and easyTag devices would be very useful to test, as most of their current implementations are based on technical specifications rather than physical hardware testing.
If you have one of these devices, please give it a try and let me know how it works!
