there anyone who knows how to integrate Finder Bliss 2 thermostats into Home Assistant? Currently, they are connected to Alexa through the Finder skill, which allows me to control them, but I’d like to move everything to Home Assistant.
Do you find a solution to integrate directly with Hassio?
I tried contacting Finder support a few months ago to request an official Hassio integration, but they told me it’s currently unavailable. If they receive more requests for the integration, they’ll probably consider it!
I confirm what I wrote in my previous message; I contacted Finder support again and this was their response:
Dear Customer,
Thank you for writing to us again regarding the possibility of a Home Assistant integration and the release of an API.
As mentioned in our previous communication, we confirm that the development of an official integration or the release of public APIs is not currently planned in our development roadmap.
This decision is dictated by the fact that, to date, the number of requests for this specific feature is still limited, and our resources are focused on other projects that have received greater market demand.
We understand your interest and assure you that your request has been registered again. We constantly monitor our users’ feedback, and any increased interest in this type of integration will certainly be taken into account in future planning.
We thank you for your understanding.
Best regards
Finder Technical Support
So they’re waiting for more requests! Try contacting support to request an integration or API release.
Hey everyone ![]()
Just wanted to share some exciting news — I’ve been working on a custom Home Assistant integration for Finder Bliss thermostats, called finderblissha ![]()
![]()
The integration is now in its first beta release, and it’s already able to:
- Retrieve temperature, humidity, Wi-Fi, and battery level
- Detect multiple thermostats (BLISS1 and BLISS2)
- Show them as climate entities in Home Assistant
What’s still in progress:
- The setters (changing mode or target temperature) are still under development
- BLISS1 models may need more testing
- Full async WebSocket handling will be improved in future versions
You can find it here on GitHub:
If you have Finder Bliss thermostats and want to help, please test it and share your feedback or issues — it will really help refine the integration.
The project is open source and built on top of a dedicated Python API library I’m developing in parallel (pyFinderBliss).
Thanks to everyone who showed interest in this topic — we’re finally getting closer to a native HA solution for Finder Bliss devices ![]()
Hello! Thanks for the integration. I’m registered in the Bliss app with appleid… how could I access to this integration?
Update. I made a new account with email and pass
Hello, happy to know you are testing out and managed to access the integration! For anyone else wanting to try, if you have created an account for example with google or appleid, you need to go to: Finder Accounts - Login and then reset your password.
Thank you for your excellent work.
I have a Bliss model 1C.91 chronothermostat that I control via the ‘You’ app.
I tried your integration and it works great.
I hope you will be able to upgrade it so that we can also control the chronothermostat with HA.
Kind regards
Antonio
