Are there any good outdoor temperature thermometers offered currently, like the common kind that you have mounted on a wall with a small display, that has a proper HA integration?
I’m interested in something using BLE as I have other devices acting as proxies in the vicinity where I’m going to mount this, I am also not against getting a device that can be flashed with ESPHome if needed. I would prefer not having to build something from scratch though as I don’t quite have the time for that.
Also much preferred that I can source this within the EU.
Haven’t considered it as it doesn’t have a display, I’m essentially replacing our old thermometer which is on it’s last life now, so a display is a must.
I feel that my requirements are essentially very basic - a bluetooth thermometer to monitor outdoor temperature that can bring it’s data into HA. I find it very strange that there is a market gap for this device which should be an obvious offering.
What I’m looking for is basically an Inkbird ITH-13-B but with a cable sensor so that I can route it outside. I already have an Inkbird BBQ thermometer that can talk over BLE to HA, it’s works amazingly well.
Hmm, actually the Inkbird Inkbird IBS-TH1 Plus or Inkbird IBS-TH2 Plus might fit the bill, wonder if they would work with the Inkbird integration, they’re not listed in the HA docs.
