Bluetooth proxies and Govee H5055 BLE thermometer

I have searched the forums and feel like there is probably something very simple I am missing here. I am using 2 wyze outdoor plugs with ESPHome that are acting as bluetooth proxies. I recently got a Govee H5055 Bluetooth BBQ thermometer. When I turn it on, HA sees the new bluetooth device, but only recognizes it as an “iBeacon Tracker.” If I try to manually add the Govee BLE integration, it tells me that there are no devices in the network. I have been able to use a scanner to get the bluetooth device’s MAC address (A4:C1:38:9B:41:95), but it won’t give me the option to search for it.

What am I missing here?

I don’t see 5055 as supported here: Govee Bluetooth - Home Assistant

You can give a try to passive ble monitor custom integration, but it looks nit supported over there either. By Manufacturer | Passive BLE Monitor integration

Openmqttgateway for ESP32 and Theengs for servers support it out of the box with auto discovery

Did a little more digging and found this: Add support for Govee H5055 by blalor · Pull Request #100365 · home-assistant/core · GitHub

Looks like it’s very close to being added to the Govee integration. Guess I’m just ahead of the wave a bit.

Thanks, y’all!
