I've got this up and running with Bluetooth proxy in garage. My phone can connect to BM6 as well, but only when my phone is near the car. My question for all is, why does HA show a gap in data when the car is gone, yet when my phone connects to the car all of the data is available from when car was gone? If phone connects first does it pull data from BM6 storage and remove it from being downloaded to HA? Or, does HA only pull instant data at set intervals and will not pull from BM6 storage?
Just purchased a BM7/BM300 Pro. Sim to connect via a BT proxy in garage to make dure the weekend car does not run out of juice. Beter sulution than having a trickle Charger with power cord on the driveway.
My HA monitoring seems to be erratic. It was working okay, then started doing intermittently for awhile (missing a days worth of data here and there). It stops gathering data for 2 or 3 days now, then suddenly gets some data again. Back when this started happening, I deleted it's connection with my phone, and deleted the App on my phone. That did not change things. It still is very intermittent with data collection. Has this happened to anyone else?
Yes. I am as well. I have @B_Rotten repo installed (BM6 Battery Monitor ESPHome - #38 by B_Rotten) but sadly it’s not stable. My BT dongle is connected direct to HA. I have even tried setting BT to active on my Shelly 3 pin plugs but that hasn’t helped at all - the BM6 just won’t connect to the Shelly
