Wow, it’s so good to have read through this thread from the start and see how it has developed and Bosch’s support. I have been eying off a Solution 3000 with Radion sensors/detectors for a while now and seeing this integration has probably pushed me over the edge, so to speak.
Perfect. Do you have any experience of using an ethernet to wi-fi adapter such as this: BrosTrend AX1500 WiFi 6 Universal WiFi to Ethernet Adapter with Gigabit Port with the B426-M? Getting an ethernet cable to where I would like to mount the panel from any of my network switches will be rather difficult (albeit not impossible).
All the features have now landed in home assistant core, so the HACS integration will be deprecated soon, as all the features are now in core.
Migration from HACS to core will unfortunately have to be removing the integration fully and then setting it up again, but at least you can now use discovery to find the panel and won’t need to set its ip address manually, which also has the benefit of not relying on fixed addresses anymore!
That does unfortunately mean in some cases entity names will change and you may need to set automations up again, but there isn’t a whole lot we can do about that unfortunately.
Has anyone else had issues with the built in integration with the latest HA version 2025.6.1? mine kept throwing up errors and after i removed it and tried to add it again now it wont add.
It now just comes up with unknown error when I try to add the integration. With nothing showing in the ha logs. I can’t remember what the previous errors were before uninstalling which isn’t very helpful. I was hoping others might be having the same issue after the latest ha update but it might just be a problem on my end.
Thanks - upgrading now. Hope this will help with the random disconnect
Just finish upgrade to 3.15
One thing Notice is login in web UI is a lot faster (this is very promising) and a nicer looking UI.
@sanjay900 have you notice on firmware 3.15 arming the system give this error?
" WARNING (MainThread) [bosch_alarm_mode2.panel] Detected possible command skew: resetting connection."
something happens during the exit delay cause it to disconnect from the panel. Arming from the RSC+ app give correct status report.
Try a full power cycle the alarm, not just the IP module. Disconnect IP module, Disconnect battery, disconnect power wait 30sec
then reconnect power, reconnect battery. reconnect ip module.
