Govee has been bringing in a lot of functionality that I have been starting to use and it would be great if those things start showing up in the integrations here.
I am currently using Govee2MQTT and Govee Cloud Integration. I am open to others.
The cloud integration brings in a “Dreamview” switch but it does not give me which Dreamview I may have on that device. It also brings in the Govee Leak Sensors, which the Govee2MQTT does not.
I had a few old Dreamviews come in that I have since deleted on the Govee App but I have not seen any of the new ones I have created.
I have since created a minimum of 3 different Dreamview scenes in Govee: Movie, Music and Scenic. My basement bar and media room has three different Music Dreamview scenes because they limit you to only 5 devices. The movie one does, too, and I wish they chould change that but not up for this discussion. Sceneic Dreamview’s limit is 20. Yes, I could go higher than that, too.
I do not see any of those Dreamview devices getting imported in either Integration. It would be nice to activate the movie ones when movies play and the music ones when music or music videos play (I have Plex).
Anyway, they have the Tap-to-Run function where you can activate several things at once that may not group, like those three Music Dreamviewer scenes or a few different play;ists on lights.
Speaking of Playlists, I would love to see those get brought in.
Is this a current limitation of the API? Is it fixed with a new API key? Is it coming? Should I be using a different integration?
