I tried to install the broad link rm 4 pro in HA. But he likes to know the local ip adress.
My idea was to use that device in my car over a hotspot to send the signal to my garage to open it.
Any idea?

Use a static lease on your DHCP server and then the IP will be stable.
I use two RM4 Mini’s and a static lease works fine for them.
