Using a RM4 pro, factory reset
used the broadlink python library to connect device to local network
unable to save any codes as there inst a broadlink_remote._XXXXXXX_codes file
ls -ltrha /config/.storage/broadlink_remote*
zsh: no matches found: /config/.storage/broadlink_remote*
ls -ltrha homeassistant/.storage/broad*
zsh: no matches found: homeassistant/.storage/broad*
is there anyway to create the file manually ?
What installation method are you using?
Where are you trying those 'ls' commands?
i used the broadlink integration to add the RM4 to HA, the ls is from the terminal integration
If you are running HAOS those files are coded in JSON and are in the .storage folder. Mess it up and your system won't boot, so manual editing is HIGHLY Discouraged.
If I need in I use the File Editor or Code Server Apps.
I dont see the .storage folder in there; wonder if this is my issue
never mind, it was hidden in code server
no broadlink
