I recently found those Sonoff a great alternative, but after a closer view, they don’t support local switching natively, we need to use a momentaneous button instead of a ordinary switch. Am I right?
Is there a way to connect it to a ordinary manual switch?
The broadlink.py file for the sensor is not found.
It should be in YOUR_CONFIG_FOLDER/custom_components/sensor/broadlink.py
I ordered two POW model (to mmeasure consumption). I haven’t studied if they can be used as switch.
I will use it between a socket and a plug. The POW is relatively big, will not fit inside regular switch enclosure that we have in Italy.
FOr that I would need to test the normal Sonoff, which is relatively thin.
About wiring … I am not sure … newb here

eventhough i did do an install Crypto/pycrypto (cfr. earlier msg). Is there something more to it than:

Up to now, I have worked on my own integration for MiLight, BroadLink devices, Repetier Server and Kodi with Home Automation interfaces like IFTTT.
Some of my PHP script for those integrations are available publicly (https://github.com/Paxy/IFTTT-broadlink-milight-smart).
I am just starting with HASS and pleased to see that most of the modules I need are integrated as components.
It would be greate if HASS gets “buttons” support so we can make different “one-time” actions (not only switch based).
That way we can make fully supported RM2 RF and IR component with learning and repetition function.

I think it is not… but I do think it will be much easier to learn each code again using the provided script than trying to adapt the code you already have.

Capture the command for each level of brightness (5%-100%) and then assign each command to an input slider. Then build automations to execute a command for each level of brightness.
Capture the command for “brightness up” and “brightness down” and somehow assign that to a slider.
Anyone have any thoughts?
What can be easier than just copy and paste? 
As far as I could see from your previous posts, you were struggling with the script and sniffing the codes quite a lot.
