šŸ”¹ Browser_mod - turn your browser into a controllable device, and a media_player

Ok. That’s for UIX. Jump on to GitHub discussion and let’s chat about possible feature for more-info to get theme of current Dashboard. It should be possible.

OK. UIX 7.7.0-beta.8 now picks up theme from view panel state so more-info dialog will apply the view theme.

Ok… first i apologize for my silence, something came up yesterday…

Back to topic: you’re a magician, you know that? Of course it’s working! Many, many thanks!

Hey, I’m having an issue with the sidebar, and I think Browser Mod might be causing it.
I changed the order of the sidebar items and also hide a few entries. Most of the time, this works perfectly fine. However, every now and then, the bottom three items appear in the wrong order, and the Settings entry moves all the way to the bottom.

After refreshing the page, everything is back to normal. I haven’t been able to reproduce it reliably, though. It just happens occasionally when I open Home Assistant.

I had a similar issue a few months ago, which has since been fixed: šŸ”¹ Browser_mod - turn your browser into a controllable device, and a media_player - #2722 by Mar1us

This is not Browser Mod but a Frontend issue. See notification/settings item in sidebar moves under Profile (when badge (dis-)appears) Ā· Issue #52917 Ā· home-assistant/frontend Ā· GitHub where the reporter confirms the issue happens in safe mode. It happens when badges for notifications or settings go from none to one or more, or vice versa. So you can replicate by clearing notifications if you have any, or creating a notification through tools if none are currently showing.
