I recently bought a bunch of Bseed Zigbee switches after being quite happy with a few test examples I bought. Now my current biggest issue can’t be helped here, since the switches are 60 mm and my old ones seem to be 50 mm. So once there is more than 1 switch, they won’t fit the hole in my wall.
Anyway, to the issue that’s HA related. When using the physical switches, all works well, they reflect their status per gang in HA.
But when I tap any of the 2/3 gangs from HA, they all switch simultaneous.
This is annoying since the switches have lights on them, orange is off, white is on. I have a few of these I was going to use as remotes for other switches, so I wanted to synch their states, so all switches show a white light when on. But if I make the automation, it switches on or off all other gangs of the switch.
Hi, I got two of their 4ch zigbee switches lately to test with HA and have the same issue. Was hoping someone here have some kind of solution, otherwise it is useless.
But those wall switches look really promising, physical buttons, switches integrated, zigbee controlled and status lights… Is there anything similar available but working with HA like it’s supposed to?
Edit: Just found info in a review of such a switch, that to work properly with HA it needs ZHA Toolkit and Tuya Magic - what does it exactly mean I need to find out…
The fix that first worked for @Veeteck has worked for me. (Had found it somewhere else and forgot to report back here)
Install ZHA Toolkit, then go to developer toolkit, Actions tab, select “Cast Tuya Magic spell” and select your Bseed device.
