So this was an intresting stumble.
im new to home assistant and currenlt moving all my automations across from google home. one of them my light color change based on the time of day doesnt work correctly on home assistant.
so at 23:00 all lights change to Dark red so i dont blind myself if i need to turn them on at night. now with google home this worked fine lights all changed whither on or off and didn’t change to on if they were off.
no doing this on home assistant both with light on and light toggle, the lights all turn on regardless. looking around i saw a post about it happening to others because the bulb didnt support it. and yet clearly these do as it worked on the google home app and script editor.
im using the Enshine brand tuya smart bulbs if that helps anyone. for now ive just left the automation of the google home side, but it would be nice if i could move it over to the HA side
