Looking for help with a new HA setup… specifically (at the moment) Bluesound. The integration was found and installed. The system comprises 6no. bluesound devices. I am trying to use HA to deal with grouping via presence/buttons etc.
I am playing music currently through two devices that are grouped. I know they are, I can hear it and the Bluesound app tells me they are.
When I run a template to query the states of each media player, the bluesound_group attribute returns None, None on all players.
The master= attribute is correctly showing True against the master speaker. The only indication I can see of the grouping is the media_artist= attribute of the slave speaker. This displays the friendly names of the speakers that are grouped. Which is also not ideal as I would think that should (?) be showing the music that is actually playing.
Am I missing something? I have trawled the forum but some of the older threads seem to suggest the bluesound_group is where the information I need should be stored…
