Built in Scenes for Home, Away, and Night

I am slowly migrating from my Hubitat Elevation to Home Assistant. I am now at a point where I am looking to recreate the Home. Away, and Night Modes I have in HE. I’m using WiFi, Cell Phone location, etc. to determine when people are present or away and that seems to be working well. With that done I’m looking to create the various scenes.

I took my first close look at the Scenes page and noticed that there were three scenes already there called Home Mode, Away Mode, and Night Mode. I was surprised since I thought that was something left to the user to create and configure. And further surprised, actually perplexed, to find that the edit icon is grayed out on all three. When I click on it I get a popup message that states “Only scenes defines in scenes.yaml are editable.”

What is the purpose of these three scenes? It doesn’t appear that I can alter them so what use is an undefined scene? Am I missing something here? If it’s addressed in the documentation I haven’t found it yet.

If you somehow integrated hubitat into HA as part of your migration, then it’s recognising your old Hubitat scenes.

I did briefly integrate the HE but have lone since removed it.
