Button for door bell (similar like sonoff snzb-01p) but with IP55 certification

Hi

I would to replace my classic door bell with a simple button, which I can integrate with matter or Zigbee in Home Assistant. The doorbell is outdoor and therefor, it should have a IP55 certification. I’m looking something similar to the sonoff snzb-01p but with fix installation (no magnet, because of theft) and with weather proof certification like IP55.

Any ideas?

Best Regards
Stefan

Get an indoor doorbell that has the functionality you require, buy an outdoor rated waterproof switch and mount it outside, and connect it in parallel with the existing doorbell switch wiring. Make sure to waterproof where the wire goes inside.

I used one of these to turn my dumb doorbell into a smarter one. Worked extremely well. Basically you keep the existing doorbell switch, chime and transformer and then add this in and you get Home Assistant integration for your doorbell.
