I’ve got two calendar related issues. The first is that the states for my calendars aren’t accurately reflecting if I’m busy or not. Then, up until about an hour ago I was able to view my calendars in the Calendar section of HA. Now when I navigate to Calendar I receive the error “Error while loading page calendar.” I’ve Googled this error and searched this forum, but couldn’t find anything similar.
I’ve got 4 calendars total, 2 Google (1 work, 1 personal) and 2 Apple (1 personal, 1 shared with the wife). My Google work calendar seems to be reporting correctly throughout this entire experience while the others are not. I created test events on my 3 non-work calendars with varying degrees of success.
Testing and Troubleshooting:
1) Restarted HA several times
2) Created test events on each non-work calendar
3) These test events weren’t picked up until I rebooted HA again, but only my personal Google calendar and eventually my shared Apple calendar reflected that I was busy, my personal Apple calendar still shows I’m free.
4) Restarted HA a couple more times
5) No change and still can’t view the Calendar section, but once my personal Google calendar event was over the state reflected I was free with a state of “off” as it should.
6) I validated that my personal Apple calendar is still set to be publicly available.
7) Rebooted the HA VM
I am expecting that there’s a short period between creating an event and HA recognizing that an event has been created, seems to be a couple minutes in testing, so no complaints on this bit. But when 10-30 minutes have passed and my calendars still aren’t entirely accurate, that’s the part that makes me think they aren’t working correctly.
I’ve looked through all the settings, but don’t see any calendar specific options that may for instance let me restart the calendar portion of HA without having to reboot the entire server.
Any suggestions for getting visibility into my calendars again and having my calendars be reflected accurately?
